DIY Artificial Succulent Terrarium

Do you like greenery in your house? Have you ever made a trip to the home decor store and picked up an artificial succulent but then felt that it’s not worth the price? Here is a quick 5- minutes project. Now you can make your succulents at home in half the price and add some meaningful accent to the home décor.

I am a big fan of DIYs. These days, due to a very limited free time, I am not able to do a lot of crafts. Last week, I found some succulents at my local craft shop. Succulent plants are perfect for decorating your home. So, I gathered the other material needed to make this quick DIY. And this entire project turned out beautiful. The best thing about it? It looks expensive and not at all hand made.

So, let’s add some greenery to your home decor with these succulents.

DIY Artificial Succulent Terrarium

You will need:

  • Artificial succulents in different shapes, sizes, and texture
  • Bowls
  • Pebbles/rocks (you can use colored sand)

Let’s assemble:

  • Fill in the bowl with pebbles.
  • Arrange succulents. Cut the step so that they can easily stand in the bowl.
  • And voila! There you go, the easiest and probably cheapest way to make yourself some long-lasting and affordable succulent terrariums.
  • If you are making this DIY in a bigger bowl, tin container, then you can fill it with bushes or other flowers. Your DIY succulent garden will be ready in no time.
  • I have seen odd number, like three, works best visually. Be sure to check what it looks like from all sides.
  • You can use it on side tables, center table, fireplace, entryway, kitchen counter/island, bathroom sink, and open shelves.

You can also use different ways to display succulents. Some of my favorites are:

  • Clay pots
  • Mini Succulents
  • Plaster planters
  • Concrete pots
  • Wood planter
  • Wine corks
  • Mason jars
  • Glass jars
  • Teacups
