There is nothing wrong with it. It is a natural process, and we should embrace it. But we can easily take care of our skin on daily basis by using some homemade remedies. Luckily, till now, I haven’t experienced any wrinkles, blemishes, or fine lines. But, I know a couple of my friends who have been having these issues. Along with natural aging, we all would agree that our lifestyle our eating habits have changed a lot. And our face is the most visible part of our body. So, everything starts showing its effects on our faces.

As I said, I have started paying little extra attention to my skincare routine over the last couple of months. This doesn’t mean that my bathroom shelves are filled with new skincare products, or I have started using facial kits etc. None of these were or are a part of my skincare routine.

I am a pure organic product lover person. By organic, I mean right from my kitchen pantry. Yes, my go-to ingredients are things like Red Lentil (Masoor daal), rice flour, raw milk, rose water, honey, chickpeas flour (besan), curd, and orange peel powder. Occasionally, I add Sandalwood (Chandan) powder to make it a little fancy. Nothing more than these.

I have been using these ingredients in different combinations for more than a month. And I have seen its good results. In my previous posts, I have already shared flax seeds gel and chia seed face pack. But, sometimes, an ingredient like chia seeds is not readily available in our kitchen. So, today’s red lentil face pack options are going to solve this problem for you.

Before we start, first get a few things ready. As they will come in handy in these packs and scrubs. First is Masoor daal paste. You can make it by soaking the daal in rose water or milk for 2-4 hours and then grinding it to a smooth paste. The soft part will be used as a pack and the course for the scrub. Masoor daal is a natural cleanser. It also helps remove skin tan, improving skin tone and texture. The second is some thick curd and raw milk.

Let’s start with our first pack.

First is Masoor daal powder. You can buy it online or grind masoor daal and then sieve it. The fine powder can be used in packs and the course part as a scrub.

The second is rice flour. You can buy it from the store or make it at home. I always have rice flour in my pantry as I use it regularly in making a few dishes.

The third is Orange peel power. You can buy it online or dry the orange peel in the sun and then powder it using your grinder.

These packs may look little tedious but believe me, they are not. You only have to keep the masoor daal paste ready. They are truly amazing.
