Extracted from a flowering plant called Salvia Hispanica, these oval-shaped and grey-colored seeds are recognized for their nutritional value and water retention capacity. Its regular consumption can help boost skin luminosity and elasticity, making it glow from the inside out. They are famous for developing a gel texture when submerged in liquid and are a staple ingredient in healthy smoothie bowls, yogurt cups, milky beverages, and snack bars.

When we buy chemical-based products, we are unaware of more than half of the names, and we are also harming our environment. On the other hand, there are no side effects when we use kitchen ingredients, and we do not harm our environment. For example, lemon as bleaching agent, rice flour, turmeric powder, honey, brown sugar in face packs. I have already shared Flax Seeds’ benefits for our skin and hair. Homemade chia seeds face pack

1.Chia seeds – 1 tablespoon

2.Water – ½ cup

3.Lemon juice– ½ lemon

4.Almond oil or coconut oil – 1 teaspoon

How to make this pack

1.First, in a clean bowl, soak chia seeds for 15 minutes. You may think that the quantity of water is way more than the quantity of chia seeds. But don’t worry. They will soak all the water and pop up in size. After 15 minutes, you will not see any water.

2.Blend the chia seeds to a smooth paste.

3.Add lemon juice. If you are not comfortable using lemon juice, you can skip it.

4.Mix any of the oils mentioned in the list. I used almond oil.

5.Your homemade Chia Seeds Face pack is ready to use.

Application:

1.Wash your face and pat it dry. Then, with the help of a brush or with your fingers, Apply this mask over your face and neck. Gently massage in a circular motion for 2-3 minutes.

2.Leave the mask for some time until it starts getting dry.

3.For removing it, get a damp towel and wipe it off. Please don’t rub it.
