And MyFriendAlexa2019 comes to an end..Let’s wrap up

This is my 8thand last post of MyFriendAlexa2019 hosted by Blogchatter. As you all know that I have picked Podcasting as the theme for this one-month challenge. I hadn’t written any introductory post when the challenge had started. But now as we say goodbye to MyFriendAlexa2019, it’s the time I should talk about why I wait for this challenge every year. For any writer, maintaining a flow in their writing is very important. But sometimes, due to other commitments, we tend to miss it. Our blog stats suffer due to irregularity. Such writing challenges gives us all the reasons to get back to the writing routine.

Blogchatter, on the other hand, is always there to answer our questions. One mentor is assigned to each group who is there to help us, guide us. Live sessions effectively clear our doubts. And above all, we get a wonderful platform to connect with many other talented bloggers. We get to read mind-blowing writing pieces. We get inspiration from them, we learn from them.

When I participated in the challenge for the first time, I had no idea if I would be able to draft even my first post or not. Why? We were under mandatory evacuation during that time. Hurricane Harvey hit Houston badly and we had to evacuate. But somehow I participated in the challenge and successfully completed it. After that, I participated in it every year. My very big reason is I try to write something new every season. In such challenges, I try something which I usually don’t write on. Last year, I wrote on Self-Publishing. Since I self-published my first book, I thought of sharing my experience, and help other first-timers with their questions about Self-Publishing. This year, I decided to write about “Podcasting”. I have already explained my reasons for choosing Podcasting as my theme.

If you are a new blogger then I would highly recommend you to participate in My FriendAlexa. It will improve your reading, writing and will give you many reasons to come back to it every year.

Thank you Blogchatter for organizing. Thank you Leha Diwakar for being such a helpful mentor and thank you my co-bloggers for giving me a chance to check out your amazing posts.

Happy Blogging!!

I am taking my blog to the next level with Blogchatter’s #MyFriendAlexa.
