Easy Eggless Marble Cake – it is a perfectly sweet, soft, and moist cake

After a long gap, I baked a cake. Since it’s Ganapati days, I decided to make an eggless cake. Whenever it is eggless cake, condensed milk is my go-to ingredient. This cake turned out super soft and perfectly sweet. I searched for many eggless marble cake recipes but then landed on this recipe from Sharmispassions. Every time I make Marble cake, the fun part is making the swirls. It’s exciting to see what pattern you will see after you cut a slice.

You will need:

  • All-purpose flour – 1 and 1/4 cup
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk – 3 tablespoons
  • Baking powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter – 1/2 cup
  • Powdered sugar – 3/4 cup
  • Milk – 1 cup
  • Vanilla essence – 1 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder. – 2 tablespoons
  • Hot water – 2 tablespoons

Method:

  • Pre-heat the oven to 338-degree F
  • Grease a baking pan with butter and flour. Or you can also use a loaf pan.
  • Sieve all-purpose flour with baking powder and baking soda at least twice and keep aside. Please make sure to sieve it.
  • In a bowl, mix the butter and sugar till light and fluffy. You can use a hand mixer for this. Now add milk and mix well until creamy.
  • Add vanilla essence and condensed milk and give a quick stir. Then add the dry mixture. Mix it well.
  • Take 1/4 of the prepared batter, add cocoa powder and hot water, mix well and keep aside.
  • Now, my favorite part. First, pour half of the vanilla batter and add half of the chocolate batter. Then with a knife, make swirls ( a simple way is to make number ‘8’). Don’t go overboard.
  • Again, add the remaining vanilla batter and chocolate batter and make swirls. Can you see the swirls?
  • Now bake the cake at 338 degrees F for 40-45 mins or until a fork inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Cool down the cake for 10mins then invert.

ENJOY!!
