Ummmm..wait. Let me first inhale the aroma of the coffee beans before we start our coffee chat. Seriously, that smell of freshly brewed coffee. Wow..it just awakens my senses. I was never a tea or a coffee drinker but if given a choice, I would pick coffee (Latte is my all-time favorite but Filter Coffee holds the first place). When I was doing my Masters, coffee used to be my exam buddy. I am still not able to figure out why I chose coffee over tea? I guess that time whichever TV show I used to watch, coffee used to be the go-to drink for everyone. Whether it be love birds going on their first date 🙂 or students preparing for their exams or two friends meeting after a long time – coffee was their connecting point. Even Karan Johar used to and still conducts his show over steaming and frothy coffee. It looks so cool and stylish…Isn’t it? Hmm..yes..that’s the reason,  I think. Come on… think from a teenager’s point of view. 🙂 Luckily, my MBA friends were also coffee lovers and CCD was our meeting spot for our discussion hang out or say cool coffee chat. Discussion hang out?? haa….?! What’s that? Sometimes we had to give presentations the very next day and after institute’s library hours, CCD used to be our cool coffee chat/discussion spot. Frankly speaking, I never enjoyed coffee as much as I did during those two years. And ever since I came to the USA, my coffee consumption has dropped so much. I somehow never liked the taste of coffee that we get over here. I still miss India ki coffee. May be it’s because of the difference in the milk.

 

But if you are a coffee drinker and if you want to meet me over a cup of coffee then I would love to. Coffee goes very well with some interesting chat. So, I have many things to share with you over a cup of coffee. Lets call it a Cool Coffee Chat. I am a writer and I like giving a title. Or you can say I like to play with words.

 

There comes our coffee……. 

I would like to tell you how happy I am to enjoy this relaxing time with you. After we take the parent role, we forget to take out some free time for ourselves. So, meeting you over a cup of coffee is my Me Time and I want to make the best of this time.

 

I would like to tell you about my podcast and how much I am enjoying it. Can I tell you one more secret? I am going to start another channel. Please wish me luck. Shhh!! I haven’t told this to anyone. Dosto me chlta hai…

 

I would like to discuss my second book is in its final stages. But somehow it’s not picking the momentum. The first book was done start to finish in 6 months but I feel, this one is taking forever.

 

I would like to tell you about my new friend whom I met I would say just a month ago but we connected instantly. Her name is PraGun and you know she gave me such a wonderful surprise on my birthday by featuring me on her website.

 

I would like to tell you how I feel overwhelmed sometimes with so many ideas flowing through my mind. Currently, I am working on 3 different projects which run in 3 different genres. And bringing my brain cells from one state to another sometimes seems challenging.

 

I would like to discuss a few courses that I have on my list but I don’t have enough time in hand to pursue them.

 

I would like to ask you if you have any ideas about handling the pre-teenage mood swings and tantrums. Sometimes I go clueless. I am just trying to maintain my sanity while dealing with my tweenager.

 

Oppss…my coffee is over. I didn’t realize how time has passed. So, this was all what I wanted to catch up with you. Now its your turn. Wait shall we order another cup of coffee? Or you want to have some pasties and croissant?
