  • Touch of greenery and nature: Can we ever go wrong with adding plants or flowers to any room? They instantly make the place come to life.

  • Mirrors: Mirrors are my second favorite decor items. Mirrors make any place look big. If you hang a nice painting or place a flower vase at an angle from which you can get a partial view of it in the mirror, that’s my favorite. I have done a mirror mix-match in my entryway. The front wall has a Lord Ganesha Painting, and the partial view I see of the painting in the mirror seems very lovely.

  • Bathtub Shelf: I came across this idea when I first watched one of the YouTube videos of Rachel Talbott. Whenever she shows a self-pampering routine, she always has such a shelf with a candle, flower vase, glass of wine. And it looked elegant and at the same time inviting.

  • Repurpose cabinet: Think of repurposing one of the cabinets (that you might be using in your dining area) in your bathroom to store bath tissues, towels, and supplies.

  • Curtains and Rugs: Depending upon the theme of the bathroom and choice of color and print, you can pick the curtains and rugs for your bathroom.

  • Floral Wallpaper: Pick the peel-and-stick kind for a low-commitment makeover. If you are among those who like to change their decor according to the changing season, wallpaper is the best option.

  • Transparent storage jars: You can use mason jars (I like blue color jars), or glass bottles in different sizes. Store your bath salt, earbuds, makeup tissues, and makeup brushes.

  • Mix-match Frames: You don’t have to stick to the old way of using frames. Now you can mix match different colors, shapes, and sizes when decorating the walls. These days, many patterned plates are available in the market; you can also hang them as a gallery wall of frames.

  • Storage Baskets: I am always up for jute baskets. They look elegant and goes with every theme. You can place the rolled towels and give your bathroom a fancy and organized look.

  • Get it done from professionals : Above ideas were more inclined towards DIY or they can be your weekend project. But if you are not a DIY person or don’t have time then you can get the remodeling work done from professionals.
