Do you remember your initial cooking days? Or the first recipe that you made independently? In my case, my first independently made recipe (it was a beverage) was Instant coffee and Butter toast. I was never into cooking so, stepping into the kitchen and trying something new was totally out of the question.
Then things changed in 2006. Why? Because I got married and came to the USA. That’s when my cooking journey started. I learned from making several mistakes. Cooking is still not my favorite thing to do, but today, I can say that I am a pretty good cook (it’s okay to praise ourselves sometimes).
But this is not the case with my today’s guest. She not only, had an interest in cooking but also took it to the next level through her youtube channel. Not just this, she also participated in everyone’s favorite Master Chef India Season 1 and was among the top 13 finalists. Please welcome Kanak Khathuria – founder of Kanak’s Kitchen.
I had a lovely time chatting with Kanak and knowing her inspiring journey. We talked about many areas and milestones of her life. We also shared some common feelings as she also stayed in the USA for a couple of years and her experiences while exploring various cuisines were very much similar to mine.
