Today, my daughter wanted to do some craft during afternoon. So we did this: We made Slime. Slime is easy and fun to make, plus it only requires few ingredients. There are many different ways to make slime. Some calls for Borax, Cornstarch, Liquid starch. I didn’t have Borax at home and also, I read somewhere few days ago that Borax is not very safe to be handled by kids so I thought of making Borax and Starch Free Slime.
Here are step-by-step instructions with photos for making your own slime.
You will need:
- Tide Laundry Detergent
- Elmer’s School Glue
- Mixing spoon/stick
- Bowl/Container
Make your slime:
- Pour some Elmer’s Glue into the bowl. The quantity of Glue you take will be the quantity of your slime. If you are using food coloring, mix it at this step.
- Add few drops of Laundry Detergent to the glue.
- Now, mix it. Your slime should be ready within few seconds.
- Your Borax and Starch Free slime is ready. Initially, it may feel sticky but later it should be fine. If it gets very sticky then you can add few drops of water. But only if required.
