What is motherhood? What is your definition of perfect motherhood? Or does it even exist? My answer is no. Well, it is a different thing that we strive hard to prove ourselves all the time to be a good or perfect mother. And this struggle makes us go crazy, sometimes even show us a real picture in a hard way that we cannot make everything right. We as mothers put many things on hold, sacrifice our desires, compromise our wishes, and still, we are not able to fit ourselves in the so-called perfect mommy frame? Why? Because motherhood is a journey. It is not a destination. This journey brings peace, trust, and love in our lives. In reality, there are many occasions we think why did we even step into this role? At times, we feel as if while practicing motherhood, we are losing our mentalhood. Well, if this resonates with your thought process, then don’t worry. You are not alone in this journey. These five moms and a father are also sailing in the same boat every day.

Here are my final thoughts after watching the trailer of Mentalhoodand interviews:
This series is undoubtedly going to strike a chord. I have watched a couple of episodes of this series, and I found it very close to reality. I am sure you will also like it. It deals with problems mothers have to face while bringing up their kids. When we judge ourselves, when we feel lost and don’t know whatever we are doing, it is right or wrong; when we think our kids are not going to love us or they will always judge us, that’s is the time when we recollect the words it takes a village to up bring a child,” and we look for our village. Mentalhood will give you some level of comfort, seeing that we are not the only ones. We all go through the same ups and downs.
