Nothing can beat the heat other than a fresh squeezed homemade Lemonade. Just one sip and your are re-freshed. If you have lemons at home, no need to plan for it. Make a sugar syrup (also called simple syrup) and follow this easy way. Your kid wants Pink Lemonade? No problem, add raspberry/strawberry puree to it and there you go. Regular and Raspberry/Strawberry..ooopss…Pink Lemonade is ready!!
Schools have started and its still warm out there. Make this easy but so very refreshing drink for your kiddo and let them feel refreshed after a long day…
You will need:
- Lemons – 2
- Raspberries – 1/2 cup
- Black salt/Salt – pinch
- Crushed Ice
- Water – 3 to 4 cups
For simple syrup:
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Water – 1 cup
Let’s make the syrup first and them Lemonade:
- Mix sugar and water. Boil it till it get reduced to half the quantity. Let it cool down. Your simple syrup is ready.
- While your syrup is cooling down, squeeze the juice out of the lemons, make Raspberry puree (blend Raspberries with little bit of salt, sugar & lemon juice).
- In a tall glass, add crushed ice. Then pour lemon juice , add couple of spoons of your sugar syrup and lastly water, more or less to the desired strength. . If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more lemon juice to it. Garnish it with Lemon slices.
For Pink Lemonade:
In a tall glass, add crushed ice, pour 2-3 spoons of Raspberry puree and lemon juice. Add water. Your Pink Lemonade (Raspberry Lemonade) is ready.
