As we are getting close to 2019, we see many messages on social media about New Year resolution. I have never written any post on my resolution. Because I believe in improving myself every year rather than making resolutions for a new year. Last week, Write Tribe hosted a one week challenge and for the last day, the prompt was “resolution”. I was wondering about my list for the new year. What I can do new or what can I quit? Hmm. We all have many things that we want to change in ourselves? But before talking about those, let’s start talking about our milestones, achievements. Here is mine,
A Quick Recap of 2018 and Saying Hi to the New Year

- Started Podcast channel on Anchor.
- Conducted my first live chat on Instagram.
From Mommy’s desk:
- My son started pre-school.
- Successfully maintained my sanity level when my husband was traveling overseas and I was here with a toddler and a tweenager :).
- Made a lot of new friends in the blogging world and a few of those people are more than just my co-bloggers. Thanks to all of you for tolerating me and answering to my silliest queries, sharing my happiness with me and encouraging me from time to time.
My expectations from 2019:
What can I expect from the new year? We all want our new year to be filled with happiness and success. I wish the same. But at the same time, I would like to make some promises to myself:
- I want to start on my second book in 2019.
- I want to increase my reading (here I am talking about books)
- I want to do more content creation.
- I want to increase the frequency of my podcasts.
- I want to stop being hard on myself. I like to do things in a certain way and when they go the way, it upsets me.
- I want to learn to calm down and take things easy.
- So, my new year resolution is To Be More Awesome Than Last Year. And doing something today that my future self will thank me for.
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!! May All Your Dreams, Aspirations come true!!
