You can learn whatever you want to. You can pick a program, and if you meet the eligibility criteria, then you can start. But it is not that straight forwards as it sounds. There are undoubtedly other factors that come in the way. When you have a full-time job and time is the issue or if you have to fill the gap in your resume because you took a break or you have recently started a family and funding is the question, or you are a new mom, and you cannot leave your kids alone – all these factors do play a significant role in taking that next step towards getting into the study mode. Taking admission in a school means daily commute, fixed class timings, funding/loans. Now let’s talk about current circumstances when the whole world is living in uncertainty. But this should not stop our learning. Then what can we do? Well, Online certifications come into the picture.

 

 

When I was a new mom, I wanted to use my time productively. I shifted my focus towards online learning and did certifications in my interested areas. I had done that a couple of times when I was doing Online certifications.

 

• Fill the lag in the resume: If you are returning to the workforce after a gap, then the most significant factor that puts anyone in an uncomfortable state is how to fill the gap? Online certification can fill that gap.

 

Today, when kids are finishing their grade year studies virtually, it will not be wrong if we say that Online Learning is our new normal. If kids can handle it, manage it, and finishing it, then why not adults? We should also use online resources and use this time to enhance our knowledge base.
