New year full of superpowers. Do we have anything in common?
It has already been a week the new year has started. How did 2018 go for you? To me, it was filled with many beautiful memories & learnings. I must say, 2019 started with a new set of commitments. The very first commitment is the New Year Resolution Blog Train. This is my first Blog Train as the host and so far, I am enjoying the feel of it.
For today’s post, I am writing on the prompt: Incredibles: Superpowers I would like for 2019.
We pray to God and thank him for each passing day and seek his blessings for the next day. Sometimes we have a hidden wish that some miracle should happen and our pending things find its solution. Don’t tell me you never asked for such superpowers.
Let’s start with my primary role. Mommy role.
On a good day, being a parent make you feel as if you are a super mom. But on the contrary, on tough days, you wish to have some superpowers. Moms have many super powers (that’s what everyone say) then why don’t we get a cape after we deliver? But we don’t need one as we are good without it. But still, this superwoman too wishes to have some superpowers time to time.
- So how about if my kids listen to me what I ask in the first go? Victory!!
- Power to persuade a toddler. Can you win the argument with a toddler? They are their own boss.
- Power to go invisible when I need a break. This may sound a little selfish, but it’s really not because every parent still needs some time to themselves, or else they’ll pop like an over-inflated basketball.
- Ability to duplicate myself.
- Power of super speeding. When I have so much to do in a day, I feel like I should run at the marathon speed, finish all the tasks on a snap and still do not get tired.
Now, let me go to the next area, SuperPowers as a blogger:
- Maybe a button to stop the clock if I have a list of household things to go along with a sponsored post deadline staring at me from the calendar.
- When I have a lot of posts to read, I wish to have the power to read and imbibe the gist of the post just by looking at the title or maybe the first paragraph. (don’t worry I am not going to do this for the blog train posts 🙂
- I want the power to think and create good content every day. I want to write at least three posts per week (I am talking about regular blogs in addition to sponsored posts)
- Power to get a headline score of 75+ for each post.
Alright, let’s get little serious now. I was pretty serious until now but if you think I was joking or you had a smile on your face while reading my Power wish-list so far then read on…
Superpowers on a day-to-day basis:
- Ability to read people’s mind. How cool that would be?
- Power to always feel good.
- Staying calm in every situation.
I think I should stop now. Otherwise, it will be unfair to ask so much in one go. Now, I want to hear your side.
